The Story
CAT 306 Hydraulic Hammer
Designed to pair with CAT 306 excavators, this hydraulic hammer is a reliable demolition attachment for breaking hard rock and concrete in harsh job sites such as quarries and on-site demolitions. It plugs directly into the excavator’s auxiliary lines, allowing the hydraulic pump to deliver high-pressure blows to the chisel. Built with safety and longevity in mind, this hammer sits in Rhinox’s excavator breaker range and comes ready to install with practical tooling and a clear setup path.
- ABF System: Anti-Blank Firing prevents unintended strikes when the tool isn’t firmly resting on a surface, protecting the hammer and the excavator arm from unnecessary wear.
- Rigid Damping System: Advanced vibration control reduces recoil and operator fatigue, helping extend hammer and machine life during long demolition sessions.
- Installation Kit: Complete with tools, a toolbox, wrenches, and a nitrogen charging kit for a straightforward onsite mount.
- Chisel Set: Includes two chisels (one flat and one wedge) to handle rock breaking and concrete demolition across common job conditions.
- Hydraulic Hoses: Supplied with two 88-inch hoses, each with 1/2 inch BSP threads; you may need longer hoses or to shorten them based on your auxiliary port location.
- Mounting & Fitment: Mounting bracket for your excavator make/model must be fitted to the hammer upon arrival. All necessary tools are included, and a step-by-step installation video is available for guidance.
- Warranty & Support: Backed by up to 1 year or 2,000 operating hours, whichever comes first. Hose wear is not covered by the warranty, but the chisel is covered for manufacturing defects when applicable.
Benefits: The combination of the ABF system and the rigid damping design keeps downtime and maintenance to a minimum while delivering consistent, high-impact blows for efficient rock and concrete demolition. With the included installation kit and straightforward hardware, you can get the attachment up and running on your CAT 306 without guesswork. The two-chisel setup provides versatility for different materials, and the supplied hoses ensure reliable hydraulic flow, with clear guidance on port positioning. The warranty provides peace of mind for operators who rely on this tool for daily heavy lifting in construction, quarry work, and site clearance.
