The Virnig V50 Skeleton Grapple (SSL) for skid steers and CTLs is a two-jaw, independent-cylinder grapple designed to securely clamp uneven debris, brush, and logs in a skid steer bucket. Its open-sides, high-visibility design keeps your line of sight clear while you work.
- Independent dual jaws: Each jaw operates with its own cylinder, enabling secure, continuous pressure on irregular objects and preventing slippage during transport.
- 1/2" Grade 80 steel tines: One-piece construction from tip to top brace adds rigidity and long-term durability, even under heavy loads.
- Open bottom with 5 1/2" tine spacing: Improves visibility and lets dirt and debris fall through for safer, cleaner operation.
- 2" bore / 8.375" stroke NitroSteel® cylinders: High-performance cylinders resist corrosion, dents, and flaking for reliable clamping under tough job-site conditions.
- Greasable pins and robust hinge pins: 1.25" pins for cylinders and 1.563" hinge pins ensure smooth movement and serviceability.
- Teflon® coated bushings at pivot locations: Reduced friction and maintenance for smoother operation over time.
- Removable bolt-on step: Durable laser-cut steel with an aggressive pattern enhances accessibility and safety on your machine.
