CID XTreme Duty Piston Drive Brush Cutter For Skid Steer
Designed for the toughest land-clearing tasks, the CID Xtreme Duty Piston Drive Brush Cutter for skid steers pairs a bearing housing with a high-torque piston motor to deliver reliable performance in harsh environments. Choose from three hydraulic flow options—17-27 GPM, 27-35 GPM, and 30-48 GPM—and four cutting widths—60", 72", 78", or 84"—to match your machine and job. It delivers a 7" cutting capacity and uses three bi-directional AR400 blades mounted on a double clover leaf blade holder. The blade holder and deck thickness vary by model: the 17-27 GPM series uses a 3/16" deck with reinforced sides and a 3/8" blade holder, while the 27-35 and 30-48 GPM series use a 1/4" deck with reinforced sides and a 1/2" blade holder. All models require a case drain and feature direct-drive piston motors. Optional mulching teeth and a forestry-grade polycarbonate door are available to improve cutting efficiency and safety.
- Three hydraulic flow series: Available in 17-27 GPM, 27-35 GPM, and 30-48 GPM to match your skid steer hydraulic capacity and performance needs.
- Wide cutting widths: Choose from 60", 72", 78", or 84" to cover more ground quickly and fit different machine sizes.
- 7" cutting capacity: Clears dense brush, saplings, and tough vegetation in a single pass where possible.
- Three AR400 blades on a bi-directional blade holder: Three 5/8" AR400 blades cut from both directions; blade holder thickness is 3/8" for 17-27 GPM and 1/2" for 27-35 GPM and 30-48 GPM.
- Deck construction by model: 17-27 GPM uses a 3/16" deck with reinforced sides; 27-35 GPM and 30-48 GPM use a 1/4" deck with reinforced sides (3/8" AR400 on the sides).
- Direct drive piston motor: High torque and straightforward maintenance without belt slip or timing issues.
- Case drain required: Ensures proper hydraulic system pressure and protection in demanding workconditions.
- Optional mulching teeth: Enhance debris management for a cleaner site finish.
- Optional polycarbonate door: Improves safety and visibility in brushy or confined work areas.
Benefits: This brush cutter is built to simplify heavy land-clearing work with dependable, durable performance. The high-torque piston drive delivers steady cutting power through thick brush and young trees, while AR400 blades resist wear in abrasive vegetation. The model options let you tailor cutting capacity, deck thickness, and blade strength to your skid steer and job site, reducing downtime and maintenance. With multiple widths, you can cover ground efficiently on open terrain or navigate tighter spaces, and optional mulching teeth or a polycarbonate door add safety and control where you need them most.
